Andrew Crawford is the Principal Officer of the Belgotex DB Pension Fund and the Belgotex DC Pension Fund. He is a Director of the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa where he chairs the Audit Committee and the Risk ISG Technical Committee. In his private capacity, Andrew is a member of the Audit Committee of the country's fourth largest medical scheme. He also serves as a trustee on a number of inter vivos trusts. Andrew is a Director of Seshego Benefit Consulting (Pty) Ltd.

Mark de Klerk is the Principal Officer of the Amplats Group of Retirement Funds, and also holds the position of Manager: Retirement Funds, for the greater Anglo American Group. Mark has extensive experience in the retirement funds industry, and has been actively involved in promoting communication to fund members over the last 20 years. He recently received two merit awards at the IRF Conference for his active role in fund communication.

Patrick Mayne is an actuary and Principal Officer of the Corporate Selection Umbrella Funds. He has been a Director in fields such as IT and HR and has strong project management skills. Patrick’s main interests are corporate governance and risk management.

Des Meyer is Principal Officer of the Standard Bank Group Retirement Fund and oversees the strategic global retirement needs of Standard Bank Group employees. She is on the Board of the Institute of Retirement Funds, and is managing editor of alternate editions of Pensions World magazine. Desiree is also past president of the Pension Lawyers’ Association.

Maemili Ramataboe has worked for Standard Chartered Bank, Shell, BP Petroleum Refineries and was Principal Officer of the Government Employees Pension Fund. As Treasurer at Shell and BP, Maemili’s portfolio comprised the role of Principal Officer for both the DB and DC funds. Maemili is a Chartered Accountant and MBA graduate, and a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers of South Africa.
